The Town of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department, with grant support from the Community Arts Partnership, and Lansing Community Council is proud to sponsor the first annual East Shore Festival of the Arts.



At this event artists from around the Finger Lakes will exhibit and sell their original work in painting, ceramic, photography, woodworking, fiber and more!

Application Process for Artists
1. Complete the application form.
2. Enclose a Self-addressed stamped envelope. (Enough postage to return your jury materials. If submitting digital images a legal sized envelope with first class stamp will be sufficient.)
3. Each work must be original and the personal design of the artist.
4. Send up to 4 digital images, slides or photographs of the work you wish to show or sell. Be aware that the festival personnel will make every effort to safe guard your work materials, but will not assume responsibility for lost or damaged slides or photos. Slides/photos may be sent to:

5. Be aware that the Town Hall and The Lansing Library are very public spaces. Artists and curators must respond appropriately to the public nature of these spaces and be conscious that not all images proposed may be deemed appropriate.
6. All Art submitted must be framed (wire on) and ready to hang or display. Drop off artwork by on or before May 3, 2010.
7. Artist or other designated person must pick up artwork by June 25, 2010
Artists are strongly encouraged to insure their own work. Understand that the East Shore Festival of the Arts and their benefactors accept no liability for loss or damage of artwork due to theft, vandalism, fire, water, or other calamity while the work is on exhibit. The space is not monitored and the building is available to many different groups day and night.
